The theme for this week’s JVG Radio Method poem is “ Choose your destination” (or the annual give 3RRR lots of money bit) .

Good Afternoon John
I may be on the opposite side of the world but I can feel the semi-organised chaos currently enveloping the studio – and I know you’re pushed for time, so I’ll keep it short.

I love Radiothon because it brings together all the elements that make a Community radio station work – Dozens of musicians and performers lending their support, the volunteers looking after the phone room, sponsors chipping in with some great prizes, management running round making cups of tea and clearing up and most importantly our subscribers who make it all possible.
And, of course, not forgetting the presenters, like your self JVG, relishing the mayhem and the buzz it creates around the studio – I regret not being there – in fact, I’m even missing Ed – well, just a tiny bit!

My travels have reinforced how high the standard of Community radio is in Melbourne and how lucky we are to have a station like RRR.

I’ll be subscribing during Radiothon and I hope you will be too.
On that note John, with the following few lines I’ll leave you to the bedlam.
