The theme for this week’s JVG Radio Method poem is “ Sky “.
A short one this week. Jon is always going on about how the poems are always too long’
So you would have thought that a short poem would be what he wanted. Alas, NO. This weeks he felt was too short. Let me know what you think.
No pleasing him sometimes.
Ed Bates on the guitar provides the backing this week.

Dear God, care of heaven, somewhere in the sky
I’m dropping you a line, though to be frank, I don’t know why
How’s the cosmos going Sport? I mean no disrespect
But yes, there’s a touch of scepticism you detect
That I’m putting pen to paper is somewhat of a twist
In fact I feel a little stupid cause I don’t think you exist
I’m not saying that you don’t, I’m saying I’m not sure
There, my cards are on the table, I won’t say any more
Thought I’d just touch base, that’s all I want to say
I have a few suggestions; we’ll cover those another day
You know where to reach me; we must do this again
Yours sincerely, Au revoir, Auf wiedersehen, Amen
