Bland On Bland – No Longer Communicating

Bland On Bland – The BookThe theme for this week’s JVG Radio Method poem is “No Longer Communicating

Not so much a poem this week as a a radio play in 3 minutes.

Huge thanks to “Harry” Brammall for playing the other voice, and on really short notice. I can’t thank you enough.

Bland On Bland – Days

The theme for this week’s JVG Radio Method poem is “Days“.

Sarah Carroll in charge this week and what a great day it turned out to be. What with Dan last week and Sarah this week, maybe we should convince JVG to have a few more sleep ins on a Sunday.

Nah. It just wouldn’t be the same without his curmudgeonly presence tilting at the windmills.

A rant this week, throwing rhyme out the door on a whim. BUT in case that puts you off.  It’s set in the neighbourhood and this week pushes “Rabbit” McGorry centre stage.

Let me know what you think…

Bland On Bland – Slow Movers

The theme for this week’s JVG Radio Method poem is “Slow Movers“.

This week we had the pleasure of Dan Warner hosting the show, JVG has done a runner for a couple of weeks. It never ceases to amaze me at the difference in feel Dan brings to the show when he is hosting.

Next week I think Sarah Carroll will be hosting and it will be totally different again.

Great theme this week . I felt compelled to use the opportunity to speak to a few of those “slow movers” who haven’t sent in their vote.

Bland On Bland – Telepathic Communication

Bland On Bland – The BookThe theme for this week’s JVG Radio Method poem is “Telepathic Communication“.

I was going to be up the bush at Newstead  this week so I recorded the poem just in case I couldn’t get a phone signal.
Not that you have to be up the bush to not be able to make a phone call (thank you NBN).

I should mention I had a great night at the Castlemaine Jail at Aine Tyrrell’s show, even got up and did a song. If you get a chance , catch Aine and her full band launching her new album, awesome.

Back to poem. In the last couple of weeks JVG has chosen “Telephones“, “Post” so I guess telepathy is probably the next “logical” one in his mind… oh wait I am getting a message here in my mind… its Jon telling me to get on with it.

It’s from the “neighbourhood”…

Bland On Bland – Telephone

Bland On Bland – The BookThe theme for this week’s JVG Radio Method poem is “Telephone“.

This week I had to not only contend with Jon but we had Anthony Morgan in the studio… let the chaos begin. Always a good day when Anthony is in. Confuses everyone. If you get a chance have a listen to Anthony and Dan discussing the perils of smoking just before Dan’s segment. Priceless

The theme this week was telephone. I think Jon was paying me back for phoning last weeks poem in. I am just glad I was there for it all this week

Bland On Bland – Dear….

Bland On Bland – The BookThe theme for this week’s JVG Radio Method poem is “Dear …“.

Got sick this week so had to phone the poem in to JVG. Sorry for the lack of quality in the recording. When I get my voice back under control I might redo it. I will let you know

Fortunately the theme this week from Jon provided a poem that nearly wrote itself.
